Chuck and Cathy Polk during the home birth of the daughter Kelly. Complications during labor forced them couple to abandon the plan for the baby to be born at home and they went to Norton Children's Hospital where Cathy delivered the baby. The Polks decided after the baby was stabilized in the ICU to leave the hospital AMA (against medical advice). September 26, 1978
