TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS
Old men, victims of the Khmer Rouge, attend a symposium at a local Buddhist temple to better understand the effects that still haunt their lives. Children who came with their parents seem less interested. Studies of survivors of the Khmer Rouge era confirm that most suffer post-traumatic stress syndrome and the likelihood that their offspring will inherit the condition as well.
