A lunchtime confrontation between Ted Lee and his son Adrian, 3. Honey or peanut butter on the sandwich? Ted finds himself as the stay-at-home parent as a result of the permanent disability he has from the Southern Pacific railroad toxic spill along the Sacramento River in 1991. In the ensuing years since the spill, Ted has suffered from long bouts with depression and isolation from his family. Now he finds some renewed joy in caring for Adrian. Monday, May 20, 1997.
