Bachelor ski area near Bend, Oregon offers dog sled tours on a daily basis. The tour lasts about an hour and covers six miles through snowy forests. The dogs, Alaskan huskies, are owned by Jerry Scdoris, of Alfalfa, OR. Many of the dogs will be used in the 2009 Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska with Rachael Scdoris, Jerry's daughter who will be competing in her fourth race.
