In a darkened room, a patient's severely burned hand was examined to determine the extent of loss of circulation. A dye was injected into the patient's bloodstream and examined under a ultraviolet light, The examining team included nurse Terry Myers, left, Dr. Roy Hobbs, physical therapist Sharon Calandrino and Dr. Harry Stein.
