A bighorn ram is transported off Baxter Mountain to a base camp where it will be examined and tagged by the California Fish & Game. The relocation of some of the Baxter Mountain herd to the Lee Vining herd in Yosemite National Park hopefully will stabilize the population in the park. April 1988
