Leroy "Rusty" Rust, the postmaster in Yosemite National Park. He was born in the park in 1920 and received his postmaster commission from President John F. Kennedy in 1961. As postmaster, he is responsible for five post offices inside the park, where service includes mail picked up in back country High Sierra camps and hand-canceled: "U.S. MAIL CARRIED OUT BY MULE."
