Toni Champion and her son Brandon are homeless in the Fresno, CA area. They are using the services provided at the Rescue Mission Family Shelter where they have a room and meals for up to seven days. The mission is supported by private donations and operated by a group of fundamentalist churches, imposing strict rules on those staying there.
